Subject: Howto install Notes 8.5.1 on Windows2008/x64/XenApp5
Feedback Type: Question
Product Area: Notes Client
Technical Area: Install
Platform: Windows - 64 bit
Release: 8.5.1
Reproducible: Not applicable
As IBM points out in system requirements, Notes 8.5.1 should support XenApp5 running on Windows Server 2008/x64.
This is fine to know, but seems to be only half of the truth.
Is there any officially documentation other than TechNote 1390167 about how to get it run in detail?
I spent now a week to get out all the edges and it is still very unstable. For example the setup seems still not able to recognize the terminal environment and puts notes.ini files cluttering around at the wrong places. NSDs show that one proccess was expected for different user's data directories at one time (?). Very strange.
Maybe I just look at the wrong places for documentation or it's better to stop exploration and to open a PMR about the topic.
Any thoughts?
Peter
